The Lord Mayor’s Charity Rainbow Ball will return to Hull’s historic Guildhall next month. The event takes place on Friday 27 November, with doors opening at 7pm ahead of an 8pm start.

The event will conclude at midnight.

An early-bird ticket price of £25 per person will be in place until Saturday 31 October, with subsequent tickets priced at £30 per person.

Those attending will be able to enjoy a hot and cold buffet, along with entertainment from local drag artists Chelsea Dagger and Miss Fanny, and there will also be a charity auction held.

The Lord Mayor, Councillor Maria Coward, said:

“This event is flamboyant, fantastic, and – this year – is going to be festive!

“The Rainbow Ball has been held close to Valentine’s Day in the past, but I wanted this year’s version earlier in the civic year so that people had the chance of attending it to kick off their Christmas celebrations.

“It’s all about promoting love and peace, whilst also raising money for my Charity Appeal Fund as well as Pride in Hull.”
